At Aim High Gun Dogs, we believe in breeding for excellence. Our goal is to produce superb German Shorthaired Pointers with sound temperaments, stellar drive and outstanding health for families and competition that adhere to and exceed the breed standard.
We are dedicated to following a responsible breeding program. Our focus, at all times, is on keeping our german shorthaired pointers healthy and happy while ensuring the health, temperament and longevity of our future generations.
Our pointers are raised in a loving family environment inside our home with our five children. We breed selectively and plan our litters according to our goals in the field as well as the show ring.

Meet Your Breeders
The Lutjens' have been raising German Shorthaired Pointers since 2021. The love of the breed all began with the need for a loyal, hunting companion. Through her years, Ashley has gained a strong interest in competition which lead her to her first show dog, Crimson, an airedale terrier. Ashley and Ryan also compete in conformation with their GSPs, attending shows all over the county. Aim High Gun Dogs is a blend between Ashley's love for raising Airedales and Ryan's love for hunting.
